Parag S. Mate is an entrepreneur with more than two decades of work in real estate, construction, education and hospitality. He founded the Beyond Group on a simple idea: growth begins when you think beyond yourself — collaborating, using resources carefully, building brands, investing in relationships, and sharing success.
As a citizen of Pune he folded that same idea into civic life. He is Founder & Chairman of Worship Earth Foundation, a social movement that works with the smallest and the biggest parts of society on rivers, heritage, civic action, electoral literacy and student innovation. He also spearheads CSR at BCIPL, putting social work inside business plans rather than beside them.
He has been awarded and felicitated for work that supports Indian culture, sports, education and civic awareness. He is a firm believer in teamwork, a living lesson he takes from the Paie Palkhi Sohla associated with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, begun in 2013. He considers himself closer to nature and insists on careful use of natural resources.
